Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who has been leaving an imprint on the small screen. De La Garza is a stunning actress born in 1977 in Columbus Ohio to a Mexican American dad as well as an Irish American mom. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas to pursue an athletic therapy profession in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last for long in Texas before moving to Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities including local independent films and global commercials. The actress quickly discovered her love in the field of acting, despite minor parts. The year 2001 saw her move into New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's soap opera in the role of Rosa Santos. Throughout the first decade of 2000, she acted small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she landed her first big series part on the short-lived drama The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was lucky enough to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. She played A.D.A. on Law & Order in 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared for 85 episodes. She then migrated to the shorter-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. This character was a hit and earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she was awarded the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza, in an recurring role on CSI Miami was announced a moment or two later. She played Marisol Delko, the wife of the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. She played her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC in the first two episodes.
