Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 - Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a quiet town situated in the West Island, which is part of Montreal's island. Many people who don't know about the place mistakenly think that they are on the West Island extends westward from Montreal. Actually, the West Island includes everything westward from that city Lachine. Amanda Brugel grew up on the island and is often known as the place where she was born. It is true that she was there for a brief time. Brugel grew to be a woman of a certain age living in Courtice Ontario, just outside Oshawa. In her early years, she wanted to be professional performer, however an unexpected growth spurt made it impossible. An article in the Toronto Star article revealed she's six feet tall, with heels. When I grew out of my male dancers, I decided to quit. There are many dancers who make the move to acting. For Brugel, it was her drama teacher who encouraged her into this path. She was a teacher at the time who advised her to pursue a role for the school's annual production. The teacher who suggested that she go after a role in the annual school production. She was awarded the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship to attend York University's Theatre Program, where she graduated in 2000 with a degree of Bachelor's in Fine Arts. Since then, Brugel's been in over 60 productions both big and small. Most notable was when she landed Rita's role in The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel was the sole Canadian actor on the show in the season 1 which was viewed only occasionally.
